Do Episcopalians eat meat on Fridays during Lent?
«Return
According to The Rev. Dr. Clay Morris, Liturgical Officer in the Office of Liturgy and Music: “Lenten disciplines is a matter of personal custom. I spent a number of years avoiding meat and alcohol during Lent except from Saturday sunset to Sunday sunset, in order observe Sunday as a weekly feast. It was an interesting and useful experience. But the church doesn't dictate these matters.”
