The Canons of the Episcopal Church provide guidelines for marriage, remarriage, and dissolution of marriage and related issues…specifically all sections within Title 1, Canons 18 and 19. These can be accessed on our web site at http://www.churchpublishing.org/general_convention/

Additionally, some Dioceses have additional provisions as part of Diocesan Canons. Your Diocesan office or your rector are able to tell you about these, if they apply. The number for the diocesan office can be found through www.theredbook.org. In any case, we suggest you speak to a clergy person at your local Episcopal Church about your particular situation.
