All are welcome to attend "Sent Forth by the Spirit: A Centennial Service of Celebration and Commitment". This vibrant worship experience will feature diverse music, lively liturgical dance and praise for God's Spirit moving among us, as we face the future with renewed energy for the loving service that lies ahead. The gathering will commission individuals and communities engaged in the Cathedral's work of sharing God's healing love in the city of Washington and around the world. The Most Reverend Katharine Jefferts Schori, 26th Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church, will preside at the Eucharist and the Rt. Rev. John Bryson Chane, Bishop of Washington, will con-celebrate. Cathedral Dean Samuel T. Lloyd III will preach.
