“I believe that God has created me together with all that exists. God has given me and still preserves my body and soul: eyes, ears, and all limbs and senses; reason and all mental faculties. . .”~ Luther’s Small Catechism on the First Article of the Creed

A three-day seminar devoted to the five senses in the Christian life. Peter W. Marty will ponder what role the human senses play for those eager to make Christian sense of their lives. Drawing on cultural realities and biblical imagery, he will discuss the difference that a keen awareness of our senses can make for living with Christ-like perspective and passion. Marty E. Marty will discuss the role of the human senses as they play out in public spheres of life. He will look at the church through the sensibilities of the world, and the world through the complex simplicity of the church.
