The 2007-2008 concert season at Grace Church in The Plains, Virginia continues on April 20, 2008 at 5 p.m. with an outdoor performance in a big tent on the church lawn by the Preservation Hall Jazz Band. They are a musical elite, keeping alive the authentic sounds and spirit of New Orleans jazz. Called "the best jazz band in the land" by the San Francisco Examiner, their high-energy, crowd-pleasing style is sure to make this a joyous event. All concerts are followed by sociable receptions allowing the audience to mingle with the artists.
