Complementary and Alternative Care: Seeking our Own Healing Environment
Saturday, April 05, 2008
Location: Adelynrood Retreat and Conference Center, Byfield MA
When we think of alternative health care, many of us probably think primarily of daily vitamin or herbal remedies that supplement our more traditional treatments. Complementary & Alternative Care, sometimes known simply as CAM, is much broader - including mind & body work, energy work, manipulative bodywork, as well as biologically based substances, including a complete system of alternative medicine.

This event will provide an introduction to and greater awareness of Complementary & Alternative Care practices. We will have fun while we demystify CAM, learn how to take better care of ourselves, and find out how to create a healing environment. Plus, we will receive an introduction to homeopathy, aromatherapy, reflexology, guided imagery, and Reiki!
