Church Divinity School of the Pacific (CDSP) is pleased to announce that Frank Tracy Griswold, retired Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church, will teach the featured winter Intersession course, Ignatian Spirituality, January 22-26, 2008.  This week-long class offers a unique opportunity available to lay leaders and clergy for their continuing education.
 
The course will provide an introductory immersion in Ignatian spirituality, including the classic Spiritual Exercises, the Ignation Examen, and contemporary and Episcopal/Anglican adaptations of the Ignatian prayer traditions.  Classes will consist of lectures, discussions, and guided prayer practices. 
 
Other January Intersession courses offered by CDSP include: 
 - Sexual Violations and the Church, Jan. 7 – 11, taught by Kibbie Ruth 

- Addictions, 12 Steps and Church, Jan. 14 – 18, by Merrill Swiney

- Ministry Skills Certification Seminar, Jan. 21 – 25, by multiple instructors addressing critical areas of ministry including anti-racism,  domestic violence, and ethical sexual conduct (scheduled at a convenient time for those who enroll in Bishop Griswold’s course, and wish to take both)

- Education for Ministering Congregations, Jan. 22 – 25, by Josephine Borgeson
 
Continuing education courses at CDSP are offered by the Center for Anglican Learning & Leadership (CALL).   CALL offers a unique range of classes, including online courses, and instructional series designed to enrich one’s religious life and strengthen the ministry of every Christian adult.
 
Classes open for enrollment this fall include:
- Chapters in Anglican Church History (Class begins Oct. 8)
- Hinged upon God: Julian of Norwich’s Homely Mysticism (Class begins Oct. 8)
- The Prophetic Voice of the Deacon (Class begins Oct. 8)
- Youth Ministry 101 (Class begins Oct. 8)
