WASHINGTON, D.C.: State of Maryland to be celebrated at Cathedral

Washington National Cathedral will celebrate the state of Maryland on April 20 at 11:15 a.m. as part of its Major State Day services.
The Eucharist will include:
Invited Maryland religious leaders;
Invited Maryland elected officials;
An opening procession featuring colorful banners carried by acolytes and youth from Maryland churches and houses of worship;
Plus guests of Maryland serving as bearers of the communion elements and gifts to the poor.
All are welcome.
