CLASSIFIED DISPLAY ADVERTISING
· Advertiser required to run a minimum of one inch and can increase the size of the as in one-quarter inch increments. The rate cycle would have to be completed within a year of the date of the first ad.

GENERAL RATE POLICY, CONTRACT AND ADVERTISING REGULATIONS
· All advertising accepted at the discretion of the editor.
· New advertisers and unlisted agencies payment with first order.
· Frequency rates are earned by ordering a designated number of insertions at the beginning of a contract year. Advertisers will be rebated in the form of a credit if they use sufficient additional insertions to earn a lower rate during the course of a contract year. This applies to advertisers reaching a three, six or eleven time insertion level.
· Advertisers will be short rated to the rate earned if contracts earning a frequency rate are not completed within one year from date of first insertion.
· No cancellations accepted after closing dates.
· Ad materials are returned to advertiser if requested; after 12 months unclaimed materials will be disposed of.
· Publisher assumes no responsibility for accuracy of key coding unless part of original advertising material.
· 10% additional charge for guaranteed position (1/3 page or larger ads).
· Inserts accepted (contact Advertising Director).

DISPLAY ADVERTISING DISCOUNTS
· 15% to Recognized Advertising Agencies on gross earned rate.
· Book and periodical publishers, retirement communities, travel and conference centers granted 15% discounts on general rates. School, college, seminary and camp advertisers granted 15% discount on general rates.
CLASSIFIED ADVERTISING / SET SOLID
· Rates based on 40 characters per line, including punctuation and spaces between words. Minimum charge is $72.00. Please include payment with order. Reservation close is the first day of the month one month prior to publication. Copy, payment and written confirmation for classified ads must be received by first of the month, one month prior to publication. Send to Classified Advertising Department:

PRINTING REQUIREMENTS
· Electronic file ads accepted as PDF files only.
· 85 line screen (Max. 100) for offset printing on newsprint.
· No bleeds.
· PDF files must be created using a specific job option. Contact the Advertising Office for more information.

ISSUE, CLOSING and BILLING DATES
· Published monthly: issued and in circulation 4th week of month preceding date of publication.
· Space reservations and advertising production materials required by 30th of the month, four weeks prior to date of issue, e.g., December issue closes October 30.
· Bills rendered 30th of month preceding publication date. Due within 30 days, e.g., December bills mailed November 30.

CIRCULATION PROFILE
· Advertising rates based on 240,000 average circulation.
