St. James Parishioners Altar View
St. James' Church's back wall leans against the narthex, the only remaining
part of the church's building following a tornado on November 17. A large
pine tree was twisted at the base and uprooted, falling into the church,
holding the back wall in place as the rest of the building seemed to
implode.

St James Back Wall and Sacristy
St. James' used to block this view, but after a tornado on Monday, the only
remaining part of the building was the narthex, where the vestments and
sacramental vessels were kept. Police have forbidden anyone from entering
the area, so it is not known if the vestments and altar hangings have
sustained water damage.
