The next mission orientation for the Young Adult Service Corps (YASC candidates) is being organized in Toronto, Canada.  It is scheduled for June 1 to 13, 2009, and there are 14 participants

Mr. Michael Tedrick is preparing the start of a new ministry in the Diocese of Curitiba, in the Anglican Church of Brazil.  He formerly served in the Diocese of Jerusalem and the Diocese of Liberia.

Missionary Travels:
Dr. Randall Giles, India, is currently is the USA for a well-deserved furlough period.  He will take time from his busy schedule of diocesan visits to stop by and spend some time with us at the Church Center.  We look forward to seeing him.

The Rev. William Schwartz, Qatar, will visit with Mission Personnel in mid June.  We are planning a general briefing with ECC staff colleagues.

The Rev. Valerie Miller, YASC volunteer in the Diocese of Honduras will be returning to the USA following a year of mission service.  We are very grateful for her ministry.

The Rev. Canon Robert Edmunds and Mrs. Deborah Edmunds, Jerusalem, are presently in the USA following a recent visit with their son and his new bride in Tokyo, Japan.  They return to Jerusalem late June.

Mr. Finley Middleton, Liberia, will be in the USA for a short trip.  He will attend the Friends of Cuttington meeting next week here at the Church Center and will also visit with Mission Personnel.

The Rev. Jeremy Lucas and Mrs. Penelope Lucas, Namibia, will be in the USA for a month long visit.

The Rev. Michael Dresbach and Mrs. Mona Dresbach, Panama, are on sabbatical in the USA until mid August.

We wish everyone an enjoyable time with family and friends.

For security reasons, it is important to let us know when you make trips away from your mission site (one week or more - for work or play) especially when e-mail access is remote.  If possible send us your quarterly travel schedule in advance.

In addition, we need to know in advance if  you are traveling to the States for a visit , especially if you have been invited to any official speaking engagements.  It is important to keep us updated as there have been a number of occasions in the recent past when we would only learn of such activities from a third party ,or from inquirers interested in meeting you.  Not only would we like to see you when you are in the States, but we would also like to be able to arrange for you to speak at events or attend conferences.  These are opportunities that could be advantageous had we known you were in the area.

Most of you find it more convenient to use a P.O. Box address.  In the interest of security, please send us your actual physical/street address and zone.  It is also required for international express courier services.
